Mariella Treleven

I studied applied economics at UW-Madison and sustainability management at UW-Oshkosh. That combination — understanding systems, measuring impact, and thinking about long-term consequences — has shaped everything I've done since.

I spent three years in energy consulting, advising commercial and residential clients on procurement, renewables, and cost optimization. That work taught me how to assess complex situations, build business cases, and communicate recommendations to people who aren't technical.

In 2025, I started evaluating large language models at Outlier.ai — assessing outputs from GPT, Llama, and Gemini for accuracy, safety, and usefulness. That hands-on work with AI systems led me to start building with them.

I founded OffsetMy AI LLC and built two products from scratch: OffsetMy.ai, a consumer carbon offset marketplace with LLM-powered analysis, and OffsetOur.ai, an enterprise AI governance platform aligned with ISO 42001. I designed the architecture, integrated the APIs, built the frontend, set up payments, and deployed everything to production.

In 2026, I launched M-1-1 Consulting to help businesses adopt AI tools effectively. I evaluate their workflows, recommend the right tools, design implementation plans, and advise on governance and responsible use.
